happy march!!  as the saying goes, "march comes in like a lion and out like a lamb".  BAA!!  BAA!!  i'm ready for the warm weather!  bring it on!

i can't wait for saint patrick's day.   friends, family, leprechauns....all those good things.  did you know that saint patrick wasn't irish?  he was welsh-italian.  and that his name wasn't patrick — it was succat.  it's true!

thanks to everyone who stopped by my show at bang! in LA.  the turnout was great!    i may have another show in the upcoming months and will be sure to let you know.   another big thank you goes out to all the people who sent in artwork for my on-line "fans and friends" gallery.  WOW!  it's incredible!  there's room for more, so if you have anything blythe related up your sleeve, please send it on.

the first installment of my 12 month series in vogue nippon is on the stands — it's beautiful!!  it features blythe in a chiffon gown (and incredible shoes) by gucci.  i've uploaded it in my gallery section.  have a look when you get a chance.  if you live in japan, keep an eye out for the tv show FASHION TSUSHIN (FASHION NEWS) - there's a feature story about me, blythe and the vogue series that will run on  march 17th.

so many people have written to me about getting a blythe doll of their own - your best bet is FAO Schwarz (www.fao.com) — the mondrian blythe is still available.  and, at $60, she's a lot more affordable than the girls on ebay!

i'm starting a photo contest this month — the rules are simple:  every month i'll include a new photo in this section.  your job is to invent a title and send it to me at gina@thisisblythe.com.  at the end of the month, a winner will be picked at random.  the prize?  a signed 8x10 of the photo!!  and a chance to go down in history,as the photo, along with it's new title, will be added to my on-line gallery.  the deadline will be the 20th of each month and the winner will be announced in this section at the beginning of the following month.  GOOD LUCK!!
